HOW TO LISTEN TO EKR EAST KENT RADIO
Web Player
The EKR Website at ekr.net has 6 different web players on it. Each one can be viewed as a pop-up player in a separate page. Complete with full details of all songs played along with album artwork.
Pressing the button below takes you to the EKR East Kent Radio Pop-up player, which will open in a separate window. It will also give you access to all the other EKR stations. These include, EKR - Goldo which is the new home for Oldies Paradise.
Smart Speaker
There are three main types of Smart Speaker or voice controlled interfaces, that can be used to hear EKR Gold.
Amazon Echo uses Alexa as its "do something" instruction. Whereas the Google Assistant just uses Hey Google as its instruction. Finally, The Apple voice instructions are directed at Siri.
For Alexa devices just say; “ALEXA PLAY RADIO STATION EKR EAST KENT RADIO”
It is as easy as that! For other devices, just substitute Google or Siri for Alexa!
Apps
The EKP APP IS TOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE and is available from the Apple Store or the Google Play Store. It gives you a choice of 6 different EKR Radio stations including EKR East Kent Radio, EKR Gold (which is the new home of Easy Rock Paradise - our sister station) as well as European Klassik Rock and more.
In addition to the EKR App, there are many different Apps that can be used to hear EKR East Kent Radio on a Phone or a Tablet. Almost all of these have a free version.

You will find all of these in the Google Store or the iTunes Store.
For PCs just search for any of the above and you will find the route to install it on your PC.
Internet Radio
Once the top choice for internet radio listening, Internet Radios have dropped a little in popularity these days. Mass use of sophisticated mobile phones the arrival of smart speakers and the advent of Android Auto & Apple CarPlay have produced a situation were there are better ways of enjoying internet radio. They still retain a loyal following though.
All internet radios work with their own databases, however there are a number of different ones! EKR Gold is available on all the major internet radio databases.
If you have an internet radio and EKR East Kent Radio is not in the database, please let us know and we will get it added. Internet Radios also let you add extra streams that may be missing. Here are the EKR Gold streams:

Most of you will be aware that Easy Rock Paradise had a sister station called Oldies Paradise. Playing an Oldies format.
However, just like Easy Rock Paradise, Oldies Paradise, closed down in October 2024. But, the good news is that it also now broadcasts as part of the EKR Broadcasting Platform. Having been re-named EKR Gold.
